*Breaking News w/Video* Wing Nut Larry Sinclair Arrested in D.C. Following His NPC Appearance
June 18, 2008
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Earlier this afternoon we covered the National Press Club’s invitation too Larry Sinclair, the Obama conspirator, inviting him to share his “story” on their national platform in Washington D.C. - a prestigious forum usually reserved for legitimate authors, reporters, and national figures, not convicted felons (who apparently had open warrants) whose claim was based solely in a minute and a half youtube video he personally recorded in what appeared to be a utility close of some sorts. Anyways, in a fitting instance of irony, Larry Sinclair was arrested by D.C. cops immediately after he concluded his pitiful showing in front of the NPC.
National Press Club Invites a Known Fugitive & Chronic Liar to Speak
June 18, 2008
Apparently the National Press Club is raising their already heightened standards (you know, the ones which deemed Reverend Jeremiah Wright worthy) too featuring speakers who have a lifelong history of crime, along with open warrants in Colorado. I am referring to the NPC’s decision to allow Larry Sinclair, a documented liar, to speak in Washington D.C.
Sinclair, who already failed a lie detector test aimed at getting to the bottom of his accusations has quite a colorful past - one which Ben Smith of Politico.com covers quite thoroughly in a profile piece dedicated to the hare brained criminal the National Press Club felt worthy too speak in front of what used to be, America’s most esteemed panel of press personnel.
Ben Smith writes:
Larry Sinclair is wanted in Colorado, but you can catch him today at the National Press Club.
Sinclair is familiar to political junkies and reporters as the source of outlandish allegations about Senator Barack Obama, tales that began with sex and drugs and moved on to murder.
The Duluth, Minn., resident is the sort of figure who appears at the margins of every presidential campaign, and both Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton had their own obscure accusers with dramatic allegations. But as the old media ignores him, Sinclair has taken full advantage of the Internet, and a video in which he makes his claims that have been viewed more than 900,000 times on YouTube. This afternoon, he’s reserved the Holeman Lounge at downtown Washington’s National Press Club to try to lend his story the legitimacy that comes with national media attention.
Sinclair’s biography, though, may get in the way of that pitch: Public records and court filings reveal that he has a 27-year criminal record, with a specialty in crimes involving deceit. The record includes forgery charges in two states, one of which drew Sinclair a 16-year jail sentence. The Pueblo County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office also has an outstanding warrant for Sinclair’s arrest for forging an acquaintance’s signature and stealing her tax refunds.
“It is what it is,” said Sinclair’s spokesman, Montgomery Blair Sibley, of his client’s criminal record. “He’s not hiding from it, he’s not denying it.”
Sinclair has, however, addressed elements of his criminal past on his own blog and in court filings punctuated by unusual spellings and capitalizations.
Addressing the Pueblo County theft charges, Sinclair swore in a 2004 affidavit that his “ALLEGED VICTIM SEEKS TO USE DEFENDANT AS SCAPE GOAT FOR HER HUSBANDS AND BROTHERS PROBLEMS WITH MEXICAN DRUG DEALERS.”
Sinclair’s affidavit, which he posted to his blog, accompanied a request to a Colorado judge to dismiss the warrant on the grounds that Sinclair was “disabled with [a] severe spine injury and nerve damage,” that returning to Colorado would put his life in danger, and that he was “terminally ill.”
Sinclair, who is still alive, is 46, stands 5′7″, and weights 168 pounds, according to arrest records. Colorado records list him with 13 aliases, including “Larye Vizcarra Avila” and “Mohammed Gahanan.” His story has generally been ignored by the mainstream media, because he’s been unable to substantiate his allegations. He has come to public attention recently, however, because his planned appearance at the National Press Club drew complaints from a wide array of prominent liberal bloggers, led by Firedoglake’s Jane Hamsher. Their petition to prevent Sinclair from renting space at the club which bloggers feared would lend him credibility drew more than 11,000 signatures.
Press Club President Sylvia Smith said Sinclair had rented space at the club, which doesn’t censor speakers.
“I’m not aware that we’ve ever turned anybody away for content,” she said, adding that Sinclair’s allegations “don’t seem very credible.”
Politico isn’t reprinting Sinclair’s allegations because they are unsubstantiated.
This February, the website Whitehouse.com reportedly offered Sinclair $100,000 if he could pass a polygraph test verifying his claims. He took them up on it, and the site said in a press release that the polygraph organizers said his results “indicated deception.” Sinclair then suggested the polygraph’s sponsors had been bribed to skew the results against him, an allegation his lawyer, Sibley, said he would expand on at his press conference.
Sibley is best known as the lawyer for the “D.C. Madam,” the late Deborah Jeane Palfrey. Earlier this year, the Florida Bar Association suspended Sibley’s license to practice law, in part for being a “vexatious litigant,” a suspension that applies in Washington, D.C., as well.
Wednesday, Whitehouse.com has scheduled a competing press conference outside the National Press Club to discuss the results of the polygraph.
Sinclair’s brushes with the government long predate his recent interest in Senator Obama. The details of his criminal record surfaced after he filed a defamation suit in federal court in Washington, D.C., against three anonymous online critics with names like TubeSockTedD who had written, among other claims, that he was living in a mental institution at the time he allegedly met Obama. Sinclair denies the claim.
In response to his suit, a lawyer for the anonymous bloggers hired local attorneys and private investigators, and dug up details of Sinclair’s criminal record from Colorado, Florida, and South Carolina. The lawyer, Paul Levy of the nonprofit Public Citizen Litigation Group, provided his client’s filings in federal court, which are publicly available, to Politico.
The records tell the story of an itinerant life of small-time crime and bad checks, punctuated by stretches of jail time in two states.
He was first arrested on a larceny charge in 1981 in Denver, according to his Colorado arrest record, as filed in federal court. In 1985, he was convicted of theft and of forging a check in Florida, and sentenced to a year in jail, according to Florida records filed in federal court.
After the Florida episode, according to the records, he returned to Colorado, where he faced check fraud and credit card charges in 1986. Then, in 1987, he was convicted in Colorado on more serious forgery charges, and sentenced to 16 years in jail.
In prison, according to state records filed in federal court, Sinclair was disciplined 97 times for infractions including assault, threats, drug possession, intimidation, and verbal abuse, most recently in1996.
“He has not institutionalized well,” a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Corrections, Liz McDonough, told the Denver Post in 1996 after a month-long Sinclair hunger strike. She said he had served time in prisons in Buena Vista, Delta, Limon and Canon City before being transferred to the state’s maximum security penitentiary in 1993.
Pretty insane huh? I mean I cannot get over the fact this deeply troubled individual is receiving any attention, let alone an open invitation from the National Press Club. Remember Sinclair’s entire accusation is based off a youtube video which he produced in what appears to be a school basement, utility closet, or dorm room.
It’s the equivalent of me making a youtube clip claiming to have walked in on John McCain amidst a sexual escapade with a stuffed animal. Then, with absolutely nothing else backing my story, and after a failed lie detector test, me receiving an invitation to speak at the National Press Club. Give me a break…
If you would like to read Ben Smith’s article in it’s entirety (and I recommend you do), you can check it out here.
The McCain Campaign Has a New Message: “No, You Can’t”
May 16, 2008
I am sure all of you out there are familiar with, or have seen first hand the amazing Will.I.Am produced music videos promoting Barack Obama that attempt to highlight positive aspects of the candidate such as showing the unity candidate he truly is and the diversely widespread foundation of support he has formed across the United States really is, spanning from young to old — rural, to urban, east to west.
Well it appears as though McCain’s people have been at work with their own version of the “Yes We Can” styled music video, which is now available for the general public to view. However I think the message is kind of a tough one in terms of — well, in terms of getting votes…From anyone none the less. I urge you to take a second and give the video a look, and then hear what you think about the new and “less then optimistic” message John McCain and the GOP are running with.

Stephanopoulos Asks McCain About His ‘Temper’ (PS- Lapel Pins MIA)
April 20, 2008

Watch this video clip from George Stephanopolous’ Sunday morning talk show, “This Week”, which I am sure you already know airs on ABC who is steal feeling the colossal blow back from their butchering of the last Democratic debate in which “Boy George” himself was a moderator of. In what I see as an attempt to show an equally touch approach to members of both parties Stephanopolous asks this morning guest, Senator John McCain about his infamous temper, a story which made the Washington Post’s front page.
Here is the segments transcript via ABC News:
MCCAIN: Yes, I served with him, and had significant differences in several issues. But the point is, look, those many all the majority of those stories 15, 20, 25 years ago. The point is that feel passionately about issues. I work across the aisle. I’ve been successful in getting legislation done. But the important thing is that, do I get angry from time to time, when I’m investigating Mr. Abramoff and find out they ripped off Indian tribes? When I see bridges to nowhere? And you know what, the American people are angry, too. They want change. They want action. And they’re fed up and they’re angry with the way things have been going here in Washington.
STEPHANOPOULOS: But you conceded in your own memoir in 2002 that your temper had been a problem. How can you assure voters that it’s under control?
MCCAIN: Again, look at my record. Look at my conduct on the campaign. Look at I mean, look, I am very happy to be a passionate man. I love this country. I love what we stand for and believe in, and many times I deal passionately when I find things that are not in the best interests of the American people. And so, look, 20, 25 years ago, 15 years ago, that’s fine, and those stories here are either totally untrue or grossly exaggerated. One thing I’ve learned over time is that stories get better and better over time
OK, no surprise here, however the lack of follow up coming from “Boy George” is surprising, especially after seeing how interested he was in arguing with Senator Obama about his Reverend, his lapel pin, and everything else worthy of FOX News headlines. And while we are on the topic of lapel pins let me point out something brought to my attention from our friends at Crooks & Liars:
It appears as though both of these incredibly patriotic, and America loving individuals have in fact forgotten their American Flag pin lapels. I am baffled as too why this remained an issue large enough for Stephanopolous to integrate into the final Democrat debate, live on National television, however didn’t make the cut for his weekly talk show with GOP nominee John McCain.
But hey, there’s no double standard going on in the mainstream media is there. You see Obama is different then McCain (who obviously is a patriot, he even says so himself), the difference is one is a Democrat who is a not your conventional beltway politician, and the other is a wretched old man who kisses the ass of everyone associated with the mainstream media every chance he gets. With the reward being painfully obvious, that is unwavering support, and a refusal to report any negative surrounding McCain. Cute scenario huh?
Left Leaning Magazine, "The New Republic," Faces a Tough Reality
April 18, 2008
The New Republic, a center-left editorial styled magazine which is published twice per month (published weekly before March 2007) looks to be the perfect example of a print publications who hasn’t been able to adapt in the increasingly booming digital era of political and news reporting. Look at their fledgling circulation numbers from 2000-2006:
I also want to acknowledge that the above graph was visually put together by none other then Kos, from the infamous liberal mega-site (which I am on multiple times a day) dailykos.com, and for letting us use it our thanks to him are extended. He writes in much greater detail on this subject and if you would like to read more on the New Republic’s ongoing collapse –or at least what appears to be a collapse– you can do so here.
Rev.Wright Is Back & He’s Not Happy With Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity
April 14, 2008

While he managed to lay low, and out of the news successfully for a couple of weeks now, Reverend Jeremiah Wright is make in the spotlight, but this time it’s not for making controversial remarks about America. The comments came over the weekend when Reverend Write spoke at a eulogy in honor of R. Eugene Pincham, a former Chicago Judge and member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Wright had some choice words for both Fox News and the networks poster boys Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity:
Escalating into full-preaching mode, Wright thundered, Fox News can’t understand that. [Bill] O’Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity’s stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe. [Pincham's] faith was a faith in a God who loved the whole world not just one country or one creed.”At that point, congregants nearly drowned Wright out with a booming standing ovation. Wright also referred to Fox News as Fix News.”
While Wright was careful in exactly what he said, and the rhetoric he used to say it, he managed to touch on slavery, Thomas Jefferson, and the labeling of one being “patriotic” or “unpatriotic” in a moment that had the Reverend in full “sermon” mode:
Wright made no mention of terrorism, he did revisit the topic of America’s mistreatment of blacks, saying America’s founding fathers planted slavery and white supremacy in the DNA of this republic,” and adding that Thomas Jefferson wrote, ‚ÄòGod would punish America for the sin of slavery.’ I guess that makes Thomas Jefferson unpatriotic,” he said to the cheers of the congregation.
Obviously this is not as bad the initial comments which began the firestorm of inquiry and one would imagine a whole lot of headaches for Senator Obama, these comments will in deed peak the interest of personalities such as Rush Limbaugh, and the army of right wing loudmouths that follow his every move.
And if you were wondering whether or not Senator Obama was in attendance at the funeral, the answer is no, the Senator was not, however I am sure he sends his prayers to the deceased Judge’s family.
Video Footage of Olympic Protests in San Francisco Earlier Today
April 10, 2008
Then in a bizarre scene at the planned starting point, the torch disappeared into a warehouse as IOC officials and torch runners, surrounded by police, huddled to discuss alternate plans with city authorities.
A few minutes later, television cameras showed a number of people dressed in official Beijing 2008 track suits boarding a convoy of buses, which then drove out the back entrance of the warehouse complex with a police motorcycle escort.
Here is video from tonights episode of Hardball in which David Schuster chronicles todays “Torch Madness” (video courtesy of Crooks & Liars):
With today’s hoopla done and over with you can only imagine the increased scrutiny this apparently “symbolic” fight for the freedom of Tibet and its citizens being waged between worldly protesters and the Olympic torch bearers will garnish as it travels from country to country.
“A lot of Tibetan people are getting killed,” said Kunga Yeshi, 18, who had travelled to San Francisco from Salt Lake City, Utah. “The Chinese said they’d change if they got the Olympics, but they still won’t change.”Security has been tightened for the afternoon run along the city’s waterfront in the wake of demonstrations in London and violent protests in Paris.
Well if that doesn’t sum it up for you I don’t know what will. What is abundantly clear here is that there needs to be some serious multi national discussion, and this has got to be at least semi repaired, because if it keeps up at this pace the Olympics might turn out to be more reminiscent of a World War 3 then the the worlds most historic athletic spectacles.
Bill Clinton’s IU Visit Plays Second Fiddle To Obama’s DMB Giveaway
April 4, 2008

Bill Clinton was at Indiana University yesterday delivering his usual stump speech on behalf of his wife, however there was a noticeably small crown on hand listening to the former president who usually brings in huge crowds. Where were the I.U. students? Well the would-be attendees were waiting in line for free tickets to a Dave Matthews Band concert being given out by none other then the Barack Obama campaign. Right around the same time Bill Clinton’ was scheduled to begin his speech, the Obama campaign started giving out tickets to Sunday’s DMB concert at I.U. Seeing as though DMB still remains a huge draw on college campuses across the country, flocks of students who had been waiting for Bill Clinton left to go grab their free tickets, leaving poor Bill alone.
Jason Schechtman, 19, Deerfield, Ill., a student at IU, got his tickets about 8 p.m. after waiting more than three hours. He met folks in line who said they’d left the Clinton rally to wait for tickets:
“I was leaning toward Obama, but this sealed the deal for sure,” he said. “The Obama campaign announced this right as (Bill Clinton) was about to speak, and it brought everyone from over there to over here.”
What can you do ya know, I mean you can’t really compete with free concert tickets no matter who you are or what you represent especially when you are dealing with college kids. The tickets will win every time. That said, I really think Obama should keep this strategy in mind for November, but utilize it so older fans will be swayed to support you in turn for tickets as well, get Cher, or Barbara Streisand to agree on free concerts for those who vote Obama and I do think success will be inevitable.
Inside the Numbers: All Signs Point to a Barack Obama Nomination
March 27, 2008

Amongst a growing sentiment within the Democratic party for Hillary Clinton to begin the process of stepping aside, recent poll numbers have strengthened the notion that Barack Obama is clearly the stronger candidate in a general election against John McCain. While Clinton enjoyed a tiny window of opportunity last week –with the Reverend Wright story breaking– it seems as though people are realizing that Obama didn’t say what Wright said in those tapes we have seen countless times played on a loop across just about every news channel. People are coming to the realization that just because you attend a church or are friends with someone, who has certain opinions you may disagree with adamantly, put you in a situation of being “guilty-by-association.”
Heck, I think we all have friends, relatives, teachers, parents, et cetera who say or believe things that quite frankly repulse us. That being said those beliefs we denounce are not enough to make us stop loving, caring, or maintaining our relationship with them. A point which Markos Moulitsas, owner of the DailyKos points out brilliantly, “Just like you guys don’t agree with everything I write, yet you continue to return.” With all of that said, here are some numbers coming out nationally that these points up:
- Pew Research Center- 3/19-22. Registered voters. Margin of Error for registered voter sample is 6%.
- Other surveys vary with the specific numbers, however the bottom lines are the same, Hillary Clinton clearly does not fare any better than Barack Obama in a general election, or among Democrats. Her elect ability argument, which we hear time and time again which could be seen in previous surveys and national polls, has simply vanished, it’s gone, poof.
- And then there is the Wright controversy, which many –and I admit I was one of them– really thought would cripple Barack Obama’s chances, if not for good, at least in the short term. Well here are the numbers over the last month, from the breaking story which included the video sermons, to current day attitude of voters on how Barack Obama handled the situation:
The surprising number here is the split among the Clinton supporters, I would have expected this to be much more one sided, leaning more towards the “Fair/Poor” option.
- A look at how White Democratic voters view each of the two Democratic candidates:
Note the “phony” numbers, and that was before the Tuzla stuff exploded. This poll was finished last Saturday. So Clinton sort of walked into a trap, reinforcing a trait that people already harbored against her.
So as you can see for yourself Barack Obama seems to have –at least for the time being– survived the onslaught of the Wright controversey, and is actually sitting on numbers that he was enjoying prior to the story. The same can’t be said for Queen Hillary, he numbers are dropping, her unfavorables have reached a new high, and frankly people do not seem to trust her. So I guess we will just have to wait and see where this whacky primary race takes us. At this point in the race, with so many up and downs, twists and turns, I really don’t think anyone knows what to expect next, however I do think they need to come to some sort of agreement because they cannot afford to spend the entire summer ripping each other apart, then expect to win in November.
More On Sean Hannity’s Relationship With Neo-Nazi Hal Turner
March 23, 2008

The information that is beginning to surface regarding Hal Turner is jaw dropping. This man is a cancer on society, and seriously needs to be locked up, if he hasn’t broken any laws (which he has in his written threats of violence against opponents, and presidential candidates) then put him in an asylum. Now I understand that won’t happen, unfortunately pigs like this exploit our civil liberties in ways that make normal people sick to their stomach. Then there is the Hannity factor, which will be quite the reflection of FOX News and their integrity, or lack there of. Included below is a screen shot of Hal’s threat of violence, which included “taking out” Senator Barack Obama, it was captured by the good people at the Southern Poverty Law Center before he took it down. It has since been forwarded to the Secret Service, and they are currently investigating the case. This was put together by our good friends over at Jesus’ General, who have actively been following, and documenting this madman’s –Hal Turner’s– actions, statements, and threats:
I received a note from the Secret Service yesterday asking me to call them about the post where I quoted former Republican party official and regular Sean Hannity guest, Hal Turner, threatening Barack Obama. I have to admit I was a little nervous, because Turner had removed the post from his site and it wasn’t cached at Google–he has anti-spidering code on his site. “Would they think I made it up,” I wondered. Fortunately, Turner can’t help himself. I glanced at his site as I dialed the Secret Service and saw this:
- Ricin is easy to make from castor beans. Castor beans are legal to buy, can be gotten throughout the country or via the internet. Even more interesting is that the internet is full of “how-to” information explaining how to cook the husks of castor beans into this poison.
Since as little as 500 micrograms of ricin can kill an adult, I wonder if smearing some on a glove then shaking hands with. . . . . . Barak Obama or Hillary Clinton or John McCain. . . . would have some effect? Probably not. But I wonder if loading some in a straw equipped with a one-way valve at one end to protect the user, would allow ricin powder to be blown in the direction of a candidate for inhalation? HMMMMMMM. It’s a good thing that I obey the law and have no intention of doing something like this personally!
- Yes, I see good reason for the political candidates this year to be gotten rid of and from my viewpoint, ricin could be used by some nefarious person to accomplish that. It’s the type of weapon that Secret Service cannot protect anyone from. What are they gonna do, check everyone for straws as they enter a campaign venue? And once the poison is delivered, there is no treatment and no cure. Death is 100% guaranteed.
Thi time the General was quick to grab a screen shot of the offense, the threats above can be seen in that image located directly below:
Now that we have clearly distinguished this monster for what he truly is we can move on and dissect his relationship with Sean Hannity, which certainly explains Hannity’s bizarre obsessions with “getting” Senator Barack Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Max Blumenthal,a writer for the political journal The Nation has covered this story extensively and introduced it to the public through his article, Hannity’s Soul Mate of Hate. Which he chronicles their relationship over the years in great detail. The following content was taken from the article which can be read in its entirety here:
It turns out that Turner was once a prominent activist in New Jersey’s Republican Party. To area conservatives, he was best known by his moniker for call-ins to the Sean Hannity Show, “Hal from North Bergen.” For years, Hannity offered his top-rated radio show as a regular forum for Turner’s occasionally racist, always over-the-top rants. Hannity also chatted with him off-air, allegedly offering encouragement to Turner as he struggled to overcome a cocaine habit and homosexual leanings. Turner has boasted that Hannity once invited Turner and his son on to the set of FOX News program, Hannity & Colmes to watch him in action.
Here is a rough time line which documents the relationship between Hannity and Turner. A former moving company manager and real estate agent, Turner cut his teeth as the Northern New Jersey coordinator for Pat Buchanan’s quixotic 1992 presidential campaign. He was an aggressive self-promoter who found a platform for his views on the radio show of Bob Grant,
which was broadcast by ABC’s flagship station, New York City’s WABC. Grant was a pioneer of right-wing radio and, incidentally, a hysterical racist.
Eventually WABC came under enormous pressure from the NAACP and other civil rights groups to dump Grant. Upon firing the radical right winger WABC recruited none other then Sean Hannity to fill Grant’s seat in the broadcast booth. For Hannity the gig was like a dream. “I’d grown up listening to Bob Grant…one of the most entertaining hosts I’d ever heard,” Hannity wrote in his 2002 book, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism.
On WABC Hannity inherited Grant’s fan base of angry white males, who listened to his show in the New York City area. Hannity found he could avoid the dangers of direct race-baiting by simply outsourcing it to Hal Turner. During an August 1998 episode of the show, Hal Turner was on air chatting it up and reminded Hannity that were it not for the graciousness of the white man, “black people would still be swinging on trees in Africa,” according to Daryle Jenkins, co-founder of the New Jersey-based antiracism group One People’s Project. And then on December 10 of the following year, Hal Turner called Hannity’s show to announce his campaign to run for a seat in the US House of Representatives from New Jersey, to which Hannity expressed both excitement and encouragement for his friends new endeavor.
By this time Hal Turner and Sean Hannity had bonded off-air. Then on August 4, 1998, Hal Turner wrote on his Google discussion forum that Hannity called him to clear the air: “Just last week, Sean phoned me at home from his job at FOX News to continue a conversation we’d begun earlier while he was at WABC,” Turner wrote. “Sean advised that one of you sensitive souls sent him an e-mail about ‘revelations I had made’ here on the internet. He told me it was obviously and [sic] attempt to ‘poison the water.’ ” Turner added that such chats with Hannity were “not unusual,” often occurring while Hannity held his calls during commercial breaks.
In a conversation with Daryle Jenkins, of One People’s project, Hal Turner claimed that he and Hannity would talk by phone and even recounted that Hannity had once invited him and his son on to the set of Hannity and Colmes. “In my view,” says Jenkins, “I think Hannity has helped Turner out quite a bit. I’m willing to bet most of the conversations they had consisted of them talking shop.“
Hal Turner and Sean Hannity’s relationship subsequently collapsed in 2000 after the Hudson County Republican Party endorsed Turner’s primary challenger, Theresa De Leon. This was right around the time Hannity’s show was becoming a hit on FOX, with the new fame Hannity realized he had no use for Turner and eventually WABC blocked his calls. This is when Hal Turner decided to purchase a time slot on the eclectic shortwave radio station WBCQ. For more than four years, Turner unleashed a barrage of hate speech at his perceived enemies:
- “bull-dyke lesbians”
- “savage Negro beasts”
- “spics”
- “sand niggers”
- “filthy mongrels, etc.”
In 2003 Turner said US District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow was “worthy of being killed” for ruling against white supremacist leader Matthew Hale in a trademark dispute. The very next day, Lefkow’s husband and mother were found brutally murdered. Turner was questioned by FBI agents, however when a suspect was arrested, he had no organizational links to white supremacist groups, which still is impossible to believe due to the fact the US MArshalls had warned Judge Leftkow of threats of violence to her and her family. Since then Hal Turner has continued to drift into a hate filled world of obscurity, while Hannity has become wildly popular among the far right wing elements of the country.
And today Hannity vehemently denounces racism as he sees it, well he denounces one side of racism, while completely ignoring the other. I mean examples such as Hannity demanding that Al Gore fire his black campaign manager, Donna Brazile, for her comment that “we’re not gonna let the white boys win.” During the 2000 election, or what is currently going on, I am referencing his “crusade” against Senator Obama and Reverend Wright. A “crusade” that give the new revelations of his past, make a lot more sense then they did before.
