Night after night the mainstream media continue to parade McCain around as the “elder statesman” who has been around, and seen it all. While painting (both directly and indirectly) Barack Obama as the “risky choice” who has this election gift wrapped - while noting he is the only one that can lose it for himself. Within this narrative are a handful of reoccurring themes, with one of them being Obama’s short time in the U.S. Senate - subsequently making his politics “unknown.” All of this of course is a a joke which continues to show how sad the media and their reporting has come to in this day and age of “sensationalism over substance.”

As the current Presidential election continues to play out throughout the dog days of summer, John McCain has yet to disappoint in regards to his steady stream of gaffes, flip-flops and stories of a raging temper with a lovely streak of sexism to boot. Then there is his wife, Cindy who has had quite the “eventful” past herself. From marrying John while he was still legally wed to his then current wife, to her chronicled addiction to drugs McCain’s ’sugar mama’ is far from the angel the media portrays her as. This really isn’t surprising seeing as though they seem to enjoy expending all their bitter, personal, and speculative attacks on Michelle Obama.

If you have ever been to the site before then you are familiar with our bi weekly Presidential Poll roundups, where we take the latest numbers being released from the so called “battleground” states and analyze them, look at trends, and whose popularity is increasing, and whose is on the fritz. Throughout our “poll roundups” we have begun to notice a trend that has Barack Obama leading in historically “blood red” states, states such as Virginia, Montana, and so on. So today we are going to look at 10 states that George W. Bush won back in 2004, but have Barack Obama in the lead today:

Over the past couple of weeks we have documented the emerging angst exhibited by some on the far left over Barack Obama’s drive to the middle, or as they refer to it as “Obama’s betrayal of the party.” throughout this “outcry” I have pointed out numerous times that these ideologues on the fringe left are acting as emotionalists, in a manner that is not only hindering Obama’s chances of victory, but cement the notion that many of these individuals simply find more comfort in losing, and the ability to whine, accuse, and fire arrows from their ivory towers, that defeat allows them to marinate themselves in.
Electoral Map Prediction Given the Latest State by State Polling

Here is the latest “Electoral Map” outlook regarding the Presidential election. This was determined by the current Pollster.com numbers, which draw there numbers by averaging all the polls for each of the individual states - making it more or less, the most conclusive polling tool available. As you can see, the current electoral map preview, come to by averaging each states cumulative polls, has Barack Obama winning 289 to McCain’s 249 (270 needed for election).

It’s not often that politicians in this day and age blatantly go out, especially on the campaign trail, and lie - just flat out claim, suggest, or take credit for something, such as a piece of legislature or new initiative, etc. that they simply had no hand in, let alone voted against. But every once in a while we get something really good, for example - Hillary Clinton’s tall tale of “landing under sniper fire” was a great - “no you didn’t” moment. Well earlier today John McCain managed to one up all the others in regards to publicly lying through his teeth, and luckily for us, CNN was there to catch it on camera.

Over the past 36 hours I have encountered article after article, comment after comment, from those positioned on the extreme left who write as though Obama’s statement regarding the passing of the FISA bill yesterday has them literally feeling a physical pain throughout their bodies - I mean it’s really getting rather obnoxious and annoying more then anything else. Thats why I am prescribing some on the left a good, old fashioned “chill pill.”

Earlier this week the thumb sucking fringe element on the right decided they were bored with the usual anti-Obama cognomens, and looked into sprucing up their tin foil hats with a new and improved “la la” land smear accusation against the Democratic Presidential nominee. But what would this end-all, smoking gun, “see, I told you so,” attack consist of - they tried the Muslim association game, it failed, they tried making connections simply did not exist, it failed, they even went after Michelle Obama, painting her as “angry black female who hated whitey”, and that too resulted in failure. So this new attack had too be good, real good, and then it came to them, in a moment I imagine to be somewhat of a epiphany to neo-cons across the country - they had their new fruitless accusation: “Obama won’t release his birth certificate; he’s obviously not American.”

It’s no secret that GOP Presidential nominee John McCain has a well deserved reputation regarding his temperament problem, one that causes him to, well, let’s just say, “lose his temper” from time to time on a handful of occasions throughout his political tenure. While this isn’t the end all, be all of John McCain, I do think that it’s important that his tendency to freak out, over seemingly minute issues, is in fact pointed out for all to look at. That brings me to the topic of this here post, and that is the “top 10 John McCain Blow-Ups”, which consists of the “cream of the crop” of McCain’s now infamous temper tantrums, hissy-fits, and tirades since his introduction too elected office way back in 1982.
Obama Camp Responds to Hillary’s Plea For Protest Outside the Upcoming Rules & Bylaws Meeting

Hillary Clinton has made no secret of what she would like to see from her supporters during the upcoming Democratic Party Rules and Bylaws committee meeting, scheduled for this Saturday, which will subsequently decide on the fate for the Michigan and Florida delegations. Hillary wants her people out in full force protesting outside the meeting obviously in an effort to sway the final decision. Clinton’s “call for protest” has up until now been left unanswered by the Obama campaign, which earlier today released a statement entailing what they expect from their supporters, and let’s just say once again Obama has decided to take the high road.
