First Kathy Hilton, wife of Rick and mother of Paris and Nikki (not to mention former big time donor to the GOP) ripped into McCain via an op-ed which appeared on the Huffington Post regarding McCain’s use of her daughter Paris as part of the now infamous “Celebrity” television ad, where he paints Obama in the same light as Britney Spears and young Paris. Well now it looks like Paris is taking her turn knocking John “Where am I?” McCain for his ad - which I would like to ad even his own mother has said was really quite “stupid”.

FOX News Refers to Michelle Obama as “Obama’s Baby Mama”

June 12, 2008

Well I would be lying if I were to site here and say that I was “surprised” too see FOX News dabbling in race baiting in a contrived attempt to pass their propaganda off as legitimate news. I am referring to the latest FOX News attack, which I would argue is one of the more blatant displays of political race baiting we have seen out in quite some time from a “mainstream media outlet.” The incident occurred during a segment discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, the wife of Barack Obama, too which the network described the former as “Obama’s baby mama,” while even going out of their way to providing a graphic depicting their new nickname for Mrs. Obama, which appeared on the screen for a good portion of the segment.

Obama on Pace to Raise $100 Million in June Alone

June 9, 2008

It is no surprise that Barack Obama and his campaign know how to raise money. Over the past couple of months Obama has set, and then broken fund raising records time and time again, consistently outdoing himself, which also happens to be his only competition in terms of raising the almighty dollar. But this month is setting up too be Obama’s biggest - and when I say big, I mean big. Top Democratic fund raisers are predicting that Barack Obama could lift off in the dogs days of June, with a guesstimated grand total reaching $100 million dollars raised in one month.

Obama Camp Responds to Hillary’s Plea For Protest Outside the Upcoming Rules & Bylaws Meeting

May 28, 2008

Hillary Clinton has made no secret of what she would like to see from her supporters during the upcoming Democratic Party Rules and Bylaws committee meeting, scheduled for this Saturday, which will subsequently decide on the fate for the Michigan and Florida delegations. Hillary wants her people out in full force protesting outside the meeting obviously in an effort to sway the final decision. Clinton’s “call for protest” has up until now been left unanswered by the Obama campaign, which earlier today released a statement entailing what they expect from their supporters, and let’s just say once again Obama has decided to take the high road.

FOX News Jokes About an Obama Assasination

May 25, 2008

This is quite possibly the most disturbing this I have witnessed on television, let alone FOX News. Watch as Liz Trotta discusses Hillary’s RFK gaffe on the Fox News Channel. She initially refers to first referred to Barack Obama as “Osama,” then laughs it off and says that they both should be killed, the host then, through his chuckling, says “let us know how you really feel Liz.” I knew FOX News was a joke of a network, but to openly “wish” assasination upon the Democratic nominee is flat out demented.

Keith Olbermann Takes Clinton to Task Over Her RFK Reference

May 23, 2008

Earlier today we did a feature on the then breaking news which unveiled Hillary Clinton’s comparison between the RFK assassination in 1968 to her current situation regarding the Democratic primary process. Specifically Clinton used Bobby Kennedy’s tragic assassination to somehow legitimize or justify her refusal to concede the reality of defeat. Clinton’s comments have since caused quite a firestorm of criticism (and rightfully so) from many in the media, and in the political atmosphere itself, the most intense however is coming from MSNBC host, Keith Olbermann.

Hillary is Out of Control: Invokes the Assasination of RFK into Her Argument

May 23, 2008

Well it’s official; Hillary Clinton has gone off the deep end, and it doesn’t look as though there is any coming back too reality for the former first lady and current Senator from New York. Just days ago she was comparing the struggle for her too get the MI and FL delegates seated, too that of the fight to abolish slavery, which is laughable at best, and maniacal at worst. However, today she crossed the line yet again, and this time it was nothing short of egregious and sickening. While talking too the Argus Leader editorial board Hilary managed to bring up the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy (Bobby) in arguing her decision to remain a part of the Democratic primary process, one which she has already lost.

Over the Past Month Dems Have Registered Over 1 Million New Voters

April 28, 2008

This is not speculation or hear say, the following is statistical fact, and it might be the best news Democrats have received in a while. It is know known that the Democratic party has registered over 1 million new voters in the last seven states that have held presidential primaries, the total number, from the beginning of the primary cycle until now is undetermined, however you can only imagine how large that figure will end up being:

Elections Director Cherie Poucher waited for them behind a counter with a jar of pens and a 10-inch stack of registration forms. She had hired 10 people from a temp agency to help handle the rush on this final day of North Carolina voter registration. Now, as she watched four more people file through the door, Poucher wished she had hired more.

“In 20 years,” she said, “I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”

The past seven states to hold primaries registered more than 1 million new Democratic voters; Republican numbers mainly ebbed or stagnated. North Carolina and Indiana, which will hold their presidential primaries on May 6, are reporting a swell of new Democrats that triples the surge in registrations before the 2004 primary.

This is great news for obvious reasons, those include the notion that the increased scrutiny being put on the Democratic candidates is spurring the attention of new voters, and not (as many in the media have speculated) turned them off to Clinton, Obama, or both.
