Don’t ask me why - cause I don’t even know, but from time to time I check up on the happenings spewing from the mouths of ingrates like Hannity, Limbaugh, Dick Morris (always good for a laugh), as well as the rest of America’s “most obnoxious”. I found myself scouring through some transcripts earlier after I read a piece by the “3 way calling bandit” himself, Dick Morris. Needless to say it led to something a bit larger - an overriding theme of sorts.
I am referring to the new talking point that has apparently spread like a bad case of the clap throughout AM talk radio, as well as op-ed columns across the country. It appears - according to Hannity & co. - the “Presidential Race is tied”, and as can imagine, this is MONUMENTAL.
The only problem with this statement is that there is absolutely zero truth behind it - zip, zero, zilch. Here is the introduction of a piece penned by Dick Morris that was posted on his web site. Take a look at it, analyze it down to every last detail, then look at the RCP “national poll average:
After almost six weeks of a constant Obama lead, generally in the five- to seven-point range, Scott Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll records two consecutive days of a tie race (July 12-13) and a one-point Obama lead on July 14. What happened to the Democrat’s lead?
Part of the slippage is Obama’s fault and part is McCain’s gain.
Ouch… I suppose it’s OK, I mean I don’t think Morris has much of a reputation anymore, seeing as though he is wrong nearly 99.0% of the time.
