My CRUSADE against Ben Ferguson

For those of you not familiar with Ben Ferguson let me give you a little background on this budding neo-con. Ben Ferguson is a 26 year old Mississippian who graduated from the good ‘ole University of Mississippi. Moreover Ben loves his conservative roots and is a avid member of the Students for Saving Social Security, a group that promotes President Bush’s plans to reform social security, also littering Mr. Ferguson’s resume are appearances on MSNBC’s Scarborough Country, Fox News’ O’Reilly Factor, Dayside with Linda Vester, Studio B with Shepard Smith, Your World with Neil Cavuto and the Fox Report, among others (obviously loves his Fox News). But wait there is more, Ferguson also hosts a local talk radio program which airs throughout the Memphis, TN area. He also authored Its My America To: A Leading Young Conservative Shares His Views on Politics and Other Matters of Importance, which unfortunately for me, I read. He lists Rush Limbaugh as one of his idols and has appeared side by side with our favorite pill popper on more then one occasion where the two spent hours spewing hatred and lies about multiple issues ranging from the Clinton’s to how proud Ben was to be a virgin. To get a better idea of what this Ben Ferguson character is all about I have taken the liberty of listing some of my personal favorite “Ferguson Quotes”:

“I look at things as being right or wrong. I’m a conservative, but when [President] Bush gave all the rights to illegal aliens, I blew a gasket. The whole point is that they’re called `illegal.’ They shouldn’t have rights like [the ability] to get a driver’s license.”

“I don’t have to worry about making friends in the business. All the people I could suck up to now won’t be around if I need them.”

I’m proud I’m a virgin. I’m glad I’m a virgin. I don’t even mind talking about it. So maybe you wonder: Why am I a virgin? It’s actually very simple. I am a virgin because I choose to wait until I get married.”

(Ha ha, have to say I saw that coming)

Ben Ferguson is extremely Pro War and strong in his stance against a women’s right to choice, and coming from from a guy with plentiful experience with the opposite sex (see above quotes) he must be a expert. Ben does not like “Gays”, or “Lefties” but he loves prayer and family. Folks, Ben Ferguson is a moron, a talking head who is only a couple years older then myself in age and many years behind in knowledge. He preaches hate, war, race baits like no other, or should I say like Rush Limbaugh, his hero.

Straight from the Alma Mater of (R) Trent Lott, Ben Ferguson is carrying on the tradition of chicken-hawk rhetoric, and cultural division through terms such as “family values”, “morals”, “Christianity” and every other one word slogan the right wing has managed to hijack over the past 10 years. So I have decided to embark on a little side project, that being since me and Benny are close enough in age, I am going to go ahead and do all in my power to inform all who will listen just what a cancer to our society this punk is. He dubs himself “The Voice of America’s youth”, well Ben I got news for ya, America’s youth does have a voice however it most certainly is not you.

Honestly, finding this kind fo stuff on the internet is absolutely fantastic. It’s always funny to see how many lines you can get into a piece of commentary like this before you start to laugh as their credibility unravels. 95% of this post had no substance in terms of issues concerning Ben Ferguson’s actual views. Instead it’s filled with the usual vitriol which liberals reserve hypocritically for those they HATE so much on the right.

I’ve said it many times before….when it comes down to the actual issues, most liberals will back off and resort to name calling and personal slurs….

But I guess if we get over the 95% of your post which has no substance or talk of actual issues, maybe we can find something you disagree on and wish to discuss as opposed to demonstrating how to slander individuals…let’s see:

A conservative who’s against letting a UN resolution that might keep WMD’s out of the hands of terrorists lapse indefinitely. It must come as quite a surprise to you that some citizens of this country care about national security….especially after an event like 9-11

I absolutely love it when liberals take anything they are in support of and call it a right. That kind of logical fallacy is worth the reading time just for the chuckle. You show me where in the Constitution you’re afforded the “right” to have an abortion….*crickets chirp*…..that’s what I thought. A “right” isn’t some ethereal label you can attach to everything you want to do in life. A right, in the context of U.S. law, is a specific limitation on government set forth in the federal or state constitution. States are free to regulate such things as they see fit otherwise… But even beyond that, I’m not aware of any “right” that trumps other peoples’ rights….that’s generally not how it works. And it seems to me when you take the life of an innocent human being and claim it’s your “right” to do so, we shouldn’t feel too awful about thinking it might be a bad thing. You don’t have a “right” to murder people…..regardless of their funcitonality or stage in life.

“Ben does not like ‚ÄúGays‚Äù”

I’d like to point out that a lack of support for Gay Marriage does not connotate that you hate gays. I myself am agnostic and have no moral problems with people being gay at all. And while I admit that alot of conservatives are against gay marraige for ethical reasons, there’s actually good economic and legal reason why it shouldn’t be allowed. The only reason government has its hands in marriage at all is because it implies a special tax status. Our tax structure is set up so that married couples receive certain breaks and benefits in order for the state to encourage pro-creation (to help support the system). It’s kind of hard for me to justify subsidizing people for an action they are incapable of. I think alot of people would be in arms if their tax money was going to rich people through welfare programs. Here we have a similar issue. Now we can sit and talk about whether government should be subsidizing marriage at all….or that if they do, they should only do it when the couple actually has a child (and I might actually agree on those points).

But apparently you, like most liberals, would rather engage in mud slinging than actually debating the issue or discussing exactly what you take umbrage with. And as far as you claiming that he doesn’t speak for the youth of America, I’d like to add that you may be surprised how many young Americans actually do not like the idea of socialized slavery…..the kind the left promotes in most of their endeavors. And we will continue to fight socialism and the suppression of freedom until we are in our graves.

The fact that you are claiming those of us on the left resort to rhetoric over substance is a hoot in itself. But your unwavering “love” for Ben Ferguson, a hare breained troll is just too much.

So Ryan please, stop staring blankly at your Ben Ferguson screen saver and get back to me, I beg this of you. Pick a topic and lets debate.

I was going to suggest that “Ryan” is actually Ben defending himself, but after I saw that the word “umbrage” was used I decided that it couldn’t possibly be. I can’t give him that much credit.
P.S. Did I miss something? Why do we care what Ryan does for a living?

Ben Ferguson on CNN on Oct. 31st was a rude, know-it-all who talked over Rick, and would NOT listen to the question. He thought he knew everything about Khalidi and tried to link him to Obama. He tried his damnest to make an illegal or inappropriate relationship. Well, the laugh is on McCain and Palin because if Obama is guilty of something, then it also applies to McCain because he was the head of an organization that gave $448,000.00 to Khalidi’s organization and it was MORE THAN ONCE!!!!!! MCCAIN AND PALIN ARE DESSSPPPPEPRRRAAATTTTEEEEEEEE!!!!!! AND THE LIBERAL LABEL WILL NOT WORK THIS TIME. GO TO INDEPENDENT TAX POLICY CENTER OR TaxCutFacts.org to find out the TRUTH about their tax plans. EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU VOTE!!!!!!
