Hyatt Regency Denver Named Official HQ For the ‘08 Dem. Convention

The Democratic National Committee has sent out an email letting party member know that they have announced that the Hyatt-Regency Denver, will serve as the Democrats central headquarters for the 2008 Democratic National Convention which will be taking place at the end of August and will undoubtedly be a historic event because whatever way the primary plays out, the Democrats will be nominating either the first African American or Female for president of the United States:

DENVER - The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) today announced its selection of the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center as the official headquarters hotel for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, to be held August 25-28, 2008. In that capacity, the Hyatt Regency Denver will serve as the base of operations for the DNCC, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the presidential campaign.

The hotel will be used to conduct official business and as a meeting place for Convention organizers. Its central location makes it an ideal home base, given its proximity to the Colorado Convention Center and the Pepsi Center.
