Giuliani Asks Staff to Work Pro Bono - He’s Broke

Well it looks like the terror’s worst enemy Rudolph Giuliani is broke. Yep, folks his funds look to be all but tapped. This is surprising seeing as though he put zero effort into both Iowa and New Hampshire, but who knows, Rudy does like spending on less then vital things (i.e. paying security to drive around his girlfriend, that is when he was still married) CNN is reporting:

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (CNN) CNN has learned that top staff members of Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign were asked to work without pay for the month of January, and perhaps longer, so that campaign resources could be focused on the Florida Republican presidential primary.
Two sources in the campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, insisted the campaign was not in dire financial straits. A third campaign source, however, said “things are starting to get tight” and that “it was more telling than asking” the senior staff to forgo paychecks beginning the first of the year.

Tough luck I guess, maybe he should have concentrated more on actually running a campaign opposed to just playing the terror card which in fact may not be his strongest area. It will be incredibly interesting to see how Giuliani’s camp tries to spin this, and furthermore how much longer he stays in the race period.

And to add insult to injury Giuliani’s national finance chair Roy Bailey, no longer has that position with the campaign. Bailey was not only Giuliani’s finance chair, he was one of the founding partners of Giuliani’s consulting firm.
