George "Motherf’ing" Galloway

Forgive me for re hashing “past” events, however I cannot help but bring this chain of events up. When Minnesota Republican Norm Coleman requested Scottish Politician and Parliament member George Galloway come in front of the Committee of Foreign Relations to answer questions, rather, accusations of whether or not he personally profited from abuses surrounding the UN Oil-for-Food Program he couldn’t have seen what he had gotten himself into. Galloway, known for his vigorous campaign to overturn economic sanctions against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in the 1990s and early 2000s and to avert the invasion led by the United States in 2003, proceeded to make Coleman and other committee members including Michigan Democrat Carl Levin look down right silly. After a supreme showing on Capitol Hill, Mr. Galloway proceeded to make his rounds by visiting numerous Americans news programs including “The O’Reilly Factor” where the fireworks continued.

After all the dust had cleared and George Galloway returned home to the U.K. many in America were left puzzled, scratching their heads and asking “why aren’t our guys like that?”. Galloway’s showing had me in awe, and I had found a new hero overnight. One question that still riddles me though is what had many Americans pondering; “why don’t our guys take on the administration like he did?” I mean, Galloway simply destroyed his accusers and made them look like the fools that they are. O’Reilly tried his usual cut off, and bully the guest routine on Galloway but for once, it did not work, it did not work at all.
