Finally the left is taking some proactive steps in the 2008 election as the Democratic National Committee has officially released a new television advertisement focusing in on McCain’s severely flawed take on the current United States economy. The television spot first hit airwaves this morning on ABC, ironically during George Stephanopoulos’ interview with Senator John McCain. Attached is the advertisement in it’s entirety:
The ad represents a growing agreement amidst Democratic circles that while Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama continue to tear into each other in their current primary race, a race that could continue on throughout the early summer months, McCain has thus far been able to work free of scrutiny all the while raising funds, and solidifying his base, which includes stealing “undecideds” who are fed up with the Democratic infighting.
And as long as this contest between Clinton and Obama continues, the responsibility seen here with the television advertisement, will remain on the shoulders of the Democratic National Committee in terms of keeping McCain on his toes, and avoid losing the all important “undecided” electorate who in this day and age are necessary to have on your side too in fact win the general election in November.
