Recently two independent journalist groups began a study into the claims which came from Bush and his Administration in months leading up to the invasion of Iraq. Claims that ultimately ended up being no more then blatent lies. The study has since been concluded and the findings are not pretty, especially if you are a part of the Bush entourage. The results show President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq leading up to the actual military invasion of Iraq.

The study concluded that the statements “were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.”

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel did not comment on the merits of the study Tuesday night but reiterated the administration’s position that the world community viewed Iraq’s leader, Saddam Hussein, as a threat.

He may have been a viewed as a threat, but obviously not a big enough one. Heck, we didn’t get the support from the majority of our usual steadfast allies. Named in the study along with Bush were top officials of the administration during the period under question: Vice President Dick Cheney, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan.

“The study counted 935 false statements in the two-year period. It found that in speeches, briefings, interviews and other venues, Bush and administration officials stated unequivocally on at least 532 occasions that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or was trying to produce or obtain them or had links to Al-Qaida or both.”

Well I suppose this study fully legitimizes something that many Americans already knew, that being our President and his administration were no more then a pack of compulsive liars. Whose actions, which came in a severely reckless manner, has ended up costing approximately 4,000 of our braves their lives. 935 times the President and various administration officials stood in front of both the American public and the entire world, and without even a flinch lied, time after time after time. It is almost to demented to comprehend, so I will end this with a question: When will enough be enough, and we finally bring our troops home and begin repairs on the collosal damage our President’s lies have brought upon so many.
