Donna Brazile Tells Some Fiercely Pro Hillary Supporters to Watch It

The fiercely pro-Hillary crowd which flock to the website HillaryIs44 have posted a couple of e-mails from media personality Donna Brazile in which heated exchanges accompanied, this on-going “back and forth” between Brazile and the rabid Hillary supporters cover a plethora of topics regarding the state of the campaign, each candidates supporters and Brazile’s op-ed which called on Hillary to stop throwing elbows in the interest of the Democratic party as a whole, which in turn was viewed by Clinton fans as an endorsement for Barack Obama. Brazile also let the “fanatic” Hillary clan member know what she thought of their often –over the top– rhetoric and actions in regards to the current Democratic primary race. In one of the posted emails Brazile writes:

I have not endorsed. So, please do not assume a thing about my conscience but I can honestly say this: no one who provoke this kind of anger in voters deserves to be President.
Honestly, I am so tired of Hillary’s supporters and I believe the vast right wing is also behind these rants.

Do you know how many undeclared supers are now just turned off by people like you? Do you understand you’re hurting her and not promoting Hillary? Perhaps that explains why a candidate like Obama has raised $40 million in one month. You don’t have to email me again.

I am not worthy of your anger or rants. Besides, I head home to Louisiana and I get enough from my own hard working friends and family members.

And then again, within hours of the first email, Brazile responded to the obnoxious Clinton backers letting them know that their toxic language and mob like mentality is destroying Hillary’s candidacy, and that she has in fact been forwarded the details to Hillary Clinton herself:

I just sent Hillary a private email telling her that supporters like you are destroying her candidacy.

Ben Smith of Politico.com spoke with Brazile earlier this afternoon, a conversation which Brazile in fact confirmed that she’s been shocked by the volume of “toxic” e-mails and responses she has received from the crazed Clinton supporters.

Now to be fair it should be noted that supporters of both candidates, of course, can get pretty toxic at times, and the tension this is causing among the Democratic framework can be startling at times. That said, I have to admit that while I have seen “extreme” actions and statements from supporters of both Clinton and Obama, Hillary’s “foaming at the mouth” followers are in a league of their own when it comes to disgusting banter and extreme attacks aimed at the opposing candidate, in this case, Barack Obama.
