And now for something completely different!

Here are some selection of photos from my recent trip to the beautiful Dalmatia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and Turkey

It was often stated in media that unrest in this region, the wars in the 1990s between Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the last one in Kosovo were a result of centuries old hatred and insurmountable differences.

There was hatred, however the former kingdom of Yugoslavia was also the most democratic and developed of all Eastern European Communist countries.  War was mainly a result of negative trends in 70s and 80s.

These are such beautiful, lush sophisticated countries as you can see in the photos.  It is a shame to think of the damage that was done over the years, you can still see the damaged building in the photos from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
