Aastra 9133i IP telephone review

July 23, 2009

9133i

Aastra 9133i is a sturdy, mid range IP phone suitable for both home or office.

It has 3 lines by default, with 7 programmable keys which can be programmed to provide additional lines up to 7 lines in total.

This is a perfect phone for those who find one phone line just not enough for their needs.

And this phone has a nice solid feel when using it,  it does not have a lightweight plastic feel to it.

The phone is sturdy and stays put on your desk.  The handset has a nice solid feel, and it sits comfortably in your hand.

This phone oozes with features when compared to the more traditional phones, many of which are available on mobile phones these days but nonetheless nice to have.

The phone displays name of the caller if they are in the directory, and you can also list last 100 answered and missed callers.  It even has teh ability to assign different ringtones for each of the lines.. nice!

The sound quality on this phone is very good.

Configuration of the phone can be done either by using a web browser, directly on the phone by using the keys or by downloading teh configuration file to the phone.

Check out the full range of really nice phones at Aastra / Nortel Phones

Stylish Luggage Review

July 22, 2009

main-logo

Lighter, stylish and easy to carry luggage is getting attention now with airlines raising fees on checked and overweight luggage.

It is more important than ever to pack light, preferably in a single carry-on luggage.

We found a fantastic selection of luggage at StyleHive that are functional, fashionable, durable and easy to carry.

They have a good selection of luggage that meet the carry-on requirements,  as well luggage that are suitable for checking in.

If you travel more than a couple of times a year,  or if a broken zipper or a lost wheel would ruin your trip of a lifetime,  then it is time for you to invest in a durable, well tested luggage that will last you the distance.

A good tip here is to buy that that will meet your needs.  Avoid buying luggage that has hard sides unless you intend to carry fragile items.  It doesn’t hold as much as a soft sided luggage, and they are harder to fit in overhead compartments because it doesn’t flex.

Head over to StyleHive today to find that perfect functional, fashionable and durable luggage today!

Making an improper choice with luggage will leave you cursing throughout your trip.

Head over to StyleHive to find your perfect luggage, it will make a world of difference on your travel.

July 2, 2009

saddam

Saddam Hussein told an FBI interviewer before he was hanged that he allowed the world to believe he had weapons of mass destruction because he was worried about appearing weak to Iran, according to declassified accounts of the interviews just released. The former Iraqi president also denounced Osama bin Laden as “a zealot” and said he had no dealings with al-Qaeda.

Saddam, in fact, said he felt so vulnerable to the “fanatic” leaders in Tehran that he would have been prepared to seek a “security agreement with the United States to protect it [Iraq] from threats in the region”.
