Hillary’s Radical Feminist Bloc Say Their “Bitter” Goodbyes

May 19, 2008

Now some say that Hillary supporters are obnoxious, others say they are out of touch, while some even claim they are counter productive to both Hillary’s campaign and the Democratic party as a whole. While I would argue until I was blue in the face that the vast majority of Clinton supporters are the farthest thing from what has been described above. However,

I would have to say that a very small, fragmented, population of Hillary’s base are in fact overindulging, spiteful, irrational, and obnoxious, very ery obnoxious.

Case in point; the radical (that’s putting it politely) website Hillaryis44.org is -as I would imagine you took from the name- a pro Hillary Clinton web site that just as all the others has a base of readers and contributors, who have been following the primary race, and everything that has come with it. What’s different about this site from the others is level of unmitigated hostility towards Barack Obama, misplaced anger which is then projected onto everyone and anyone who isn’t “one of them”, and what has now emerged to be a strong anti Democratic party sentiment – which I want to add has reached a level that I do not see on many far right wing minded blogs and publications.

I could sit here and type for hours explaining just how demented many of the posters, and writers on the site are, and demented is not an overstatement. But I though that instead of trying to make my case against these intellectually absent individuals, who have “reality blinders” fastened tightly on, I would let their own words make the argument for itself. Here are handful of excerpts from the “goodbye” piece titled “537″ posted earlier on the site, accompanied with choice comments from their loyal readers.

Remember these are not jokes, or people attempting political satire – this is actually the thoughts, arguments and rational from a small portion of Hillary’s “lunatic Fringe”:

“Democrats used to care about the will of the people. Democrats used to care about the popular vote. Once upon a time Democrats cared about 537 votes in Florida. In 2000, and for 4 years after that, the bloody flag of of counting all the votes in Florida was waved by Democrats. In 2008 Democrats don’t care about 2.3 million votes cast in Florida and Michigan.”

This argument, while attractive to some lacks any real backing. They keep claiming that the Democrats are ignoring Florida and Michigan when in all actuality the situation (MI & FL delegate not being seated) would have never happened if the Democrats in MI and FL followed the rules. However they didn’t, they broke the rules, hence the punishment. MI and FL Democrats don’t follow the rules, therefore are punished, and the punishment stands, leading one to conclude the Democratic party sticks to its principles and is not willing to change the decided on system after the process has begun.

On a sidenote, 40% of MI Democrats voted “Undecided”, Barack Obama and John Edwards were note on the ballot, and the latest MI polls have Obama now leading Clinton in the state. So when people advise Clinton supporters to let it go, they should listen; people aren’t trying to silence them, and it has nothing to do with “sexism” either (their default argument for just about everything) they are simply trying to help prevent them from making more of a fool out of themselves then they already have. Moving on.

The article continues with the same poignant tone of viscous hate, and irrational argument. Here is another section from “537″ which I found so disgusting, that I started to chuckle pondering the thought of what these people in like real life:

“But Obama keeps on blaming Americans for not voting for him. Americans without Rezko to help finance their homes, let alone mansions, apparently are bitter”. The problem is Obama. Americans, bitter creatures that we are, don’t want Obama. Americans will cling to the truth, not Obama’s fictions. Obama is a loser – which is why only 46 states and dropping are important to him and Dean/Brazile/Pelosi. Democrats are losers too – they have lost their principles. Once Democrats cared about 537 votes. Now Democrats don’t care about millions of votes.

What they are saying is so asinine that it’s almost impossible to argue. The fact that this group, supporting HIllary Clinton, would bring up Rezko seeing as though Hillary is and has been the center of more shady campaign contributions, fundraisers and court cases then any Democrat currently serving with her in the Senate.

But again, this is the difference between Obama supporters, and this segment of Hillary supporters (even though as far as the Rezko argument goes I have hear that from quite a few Clinton people). They will take something like Rezko and not just mention it, but base fundamental arguments around it, revisiting time after time regardless of whether or not it brings any substantial reasoning to what it is they are saying.

Obama supporters could do this too, and for the amount these Hillary fans bash the mainstream media, they really should take this into consideration. I am talking about the current Peter Paul v. Clinton court battle, involves Peter Franklin Paul, a Hollywood entrepreneur, former trial attorney, and big time campaign fund raiser and now the the plaintiff in the landmark civil fraud suit against Bill and Hillary Clinton which resulted in the criminal prosecution by the Department Of Justice of Clinton’s finance director David Rosen.

But ya know what, I am not going to focus on that, theres no use really. But it is interesting that this story was never, even in the slightest way, injected into the primary narritive, especially when you look at how much the media loved Rev.Wright, flag pins, et cetera, clearly indicating their desire for controversial stories. Before I wrap this up I am going to feature a couple of the comments left in response to the “537″ article:

  • Alcina says: “i will enjoy watching the water-boarding of BO and his followers on a national stage this summer and into the fall. you are absolutely right. we do hold the cards and panic is setting in, big time.”
  • Universal says: “Not only do we get to sit back and watch Bambi implode, we’re the ones who will be creating the pressurization. Karma is a bitch, sometimes.”
  • Curiosityhasme says: “Pat Buchanan totally gets it” and has since the beginning. LOTS of Republicans get it.” There are even many Republicans that would rather gamble opposite HRC than BHO because at least she is a patriotic American, does not pose a danger to our national security, could pass a random drug test, and knows and could name the fifty states, including capitals. That’s one fourth grade test that BHO could not pass. I also wonder about BHO’s ability to pass a random drug test.”
  • 1950Democrat says: “I’m still brainstorming on my idea about PROVING we’re serious about defecting, by making ‚Äòconditional’ donations. I hope lots of these projects will be set up in different ways by different people. For really simple how about writing SMALL personal checks: Pay to Hillary Clinton Campaign OR John McCain Campaign.”Mail them snail mail to some trusted person. After the nomination, that person mails them all to Hillary’s campaign if she won the nomination and to McCain’s campaign if Hillary lost it.”
  • Blu Democrat says: “I’m waiting for Wolfsen to come out, tell BO & Axelrod and all the rest to go f*ck themselves, and defiantly point towards Denver. That’s the one we’re waiting on,.”

I don’t think I need to say much, the statements do a pretty good job of exhibiting what type of people these “fringe” element Clinton supporters are like, what their intentions are, and their inability to lose with any sliver of class. But then again I am not sure these folks show class in any situation they encounter, whether it be political, social, et cetera.

As for their “threats” not to vote for Obama; I say good rithens. Not only do I not care if these people come around to support Obama or not, I would rather these vile, narrow minded, perpetrators of hate associated with the Democratic party, or Barack Obama. They are bottom feeders, whom I suspect the majority of were Republicans, and still are, but supported Clinton solely because she was a women. This makes sense seeing as though you will be hard pressed to find ANY intellectual or policy based argument against Sen. Obama. All they do is name call, threaten, and name call some more: tell-tale signs of a Republican.

That’s all I really have to say about this topic, it’s toxic and contrived, and the people are so obnoxious and angry that putting to much focus on it starts to give me a headache (seriously). So as Forrest Gump always said: “And that’s all I have to say about that.”
