Vintage Video of Bill O’Reilly Throwing a Profanity Laced Temper Tantrum
May 12, 2008
It should come as no surprise that Bill O’Reilly has always been a screamer, but it’s always nice to have video proof. Below, watch a vintage meltdown from his “Inside Edition” days that has just resurfaced via College Humor — Watch as our favorite gas bag O’Reilly screams:
“f*ck it, no just f*ck it, we’ll do it live, this f*cking thing… God.”
I must say that I watched this little clip three times, yes three times in a row basically because I was laughing so hard it took me three times to be able to hear the entire temper tantrum. It also made me think to myself how much it would suck having this guy as a father. I mean can you imagine his reaction if you were caught sneaking out or came home drunk in high school, eek, not a scenario I would like to find my self in that’s for sure.

Everybody has bad days. Even the most professional, upstanding people (not saying I like O’Reilly’s politics or TV personality at all — I don’t) are prone to having a shit fit when they just can’t get anything to go right for them on a shit day. I’ve done it, chances are you’ve done it. I can’t say I would use this video to defame his character, as much as I’d like to. It just makes me feel sympathetic to the kind of stress he must have been under that day. He got the job done in the end. A completely immature person would have followed through on tossing his mic and walking off, instead of getting his shit under control long enough to grit his teeth and get it done, so at least he has that to his credit.
My dad used to be a lot louder, scarier, and profanity-capable than this when he was having a shit day and then something pushed him over the edge, and normally he is very calm, gentle, and clean with his words. Even the tiniest, most trivial things would do it, as this video illustrates.
This video may be vintage; but it is still hilarious. Radio talk show ARMSTRONG AND GETTY frequently plays the temper tantrum and imitate him! I love it everytime! MORE, MORE , MORE! nme
