Sam Donaldson Acts a Fool–He’s Either Really Drunk or Just Really Weird

Wonkette.com manages to touch on the Sam Donaldson, “what the hell did he just say” sentiment and write: Do you know what we miss? We miss Sam Donaldson yelling questions at Ronald Reagan, and telling weird stories, and doing his “webcast” at the Republican and Democratic presidential conventions in 2000.

Our own Liz Glover asks Sam to tell some stories, and good lord, does he oblige. This was at the Michael Kelly Awards over at the Atlantic Monthly office on Thursday night. (Yes we know Donaldson is on ABC’s This Week but we never wake up in time for that, due to booze.)

Or it could just be that the people at Wonkette don’t like the fact Donaldson openly acknowledges the fact Obama has won, and that Hillary is basically looking for new, and more far fetched ways of justiing staying in the race even though everyone except herself knows she is finished. I only say this because the entire Wonkette staff seems to have a hard on over Clinton and some vendetta against Obama. It is incredibly strong too, I say this because it manages to seep through the satire they utilize in their work. I don’t know really, so you will have to make up your own mind.
