Chelsea Shocked When Asked About Lewinsky During a Stop in Indiana
March 26, 2008

In an incredibly uncomfortable exchange earler this afternoon during a campaign stop made for her mother in Indianapolis, IN, Chelsea Clinton was thrown a curve ball, and had to think on her feet when an eager reporter asked whether her mother’s credibility had been hurt during the Monica Lewinsky scandal which has become infamous in its own right. Chelsea looked shocked, and her baffled expression was quite understandable given the circumstances she was facing, however thinking on her feet Chelsea responded to the obnoxious reporter with this statement:
“Wow, you’re the first person actually that’s ever asked me that question in the, I don’t know maybe, 70 college campuses I’ve now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business,”
Now let me make something very clear, I am far from a Clinton supporter, however this is uncalled for, and flat out unfair to both Chelsea and her mother, Hillary. Asking tough questions about policy, and possible flip flops on the issues is one thing, asking questions to the daughter about a situation that had nothing to do with her, yet caused her enormous hurt and embarrassment, shows how unprofessional some in the press can be.
