Here is the now infamous clip of Vice President Dick Cheney showing just how much he respects the the people of the United States, you know, the same body of individuals who elected him into office. Check out what Dick says in response to a question by ABC’s Martha Raddatz about two thirds of Americans expressing their feelings that the war was no longer worth fighting:
Raddatz: Two-thirds of Americans say it’s not worth fighting, and they’re looking at the value gain versus the cost in American lives, certainly, and Iraqi lives.
Cheney: So? (said with glowing smile only a neo-con could pull off)
Raddatz: So you don’t care what the American people think?
Cheney: No, I think you cannot be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls.
