Barack Obama Finally Strikes Back, And Tells It How It Is
February 25, 2008

This probably will not come as a surprise to anyone, but the Clinton camp is reporting that they are “upbeat about the New York senator’s White House chances“, which says a lot for their temperament, I mean they have lost 11 primaries in a row, they are all but tied in Texas, a state where less then a week ago Hillary led by double digits, and Rhode Island and North Carolina will in fact be won by Obama, in yet another series of landslides. However, Barack Obama sees something a lot of us do, and is finally calling the media on it — Obama said Saturday he would likely be treated differently if his campaign had suffered a similar string of losses in the fashion she has. When asked in Ohio by a reporter if he would be treated differently had he lost as many contests as Clinton, Obama said, “Yes.” And continued to explain what has to be done:
“she’s part of the Democratic network in Washington.”“Look, I’m the challenger, I’m the upstart,” he said. “I’m the insurgent she’s, she’s the champ. She’s part of the Democratic network in Washington and, you know, if you’re the title holder then you don’t lose it on points. You got to be knocked out.”
However the translation is unclear, well at least in my eyes. Hillary Clinton has spent over $140 million dollars in two months, without a single victory to show for it. Heck, her last win dates all the way back too “Super Duper Tuesday“. Also, it isn’t like her 11 loses in a row have been close, in fact the vast majority of them were absolute blow outs, I am talking landslides in which Clinton looked downright silly. Evidently not the poll numbers that have been released the past day which show Obama beating McCain, but McCain soundly beating Hillary, can get her increasingly annoying campaign down. In a conference call with reporters earlier Saturday, Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson denied reports some Clinton backers feel Obama has all but locked up the nomination, and said voters in the March 4 primary contests won’t base their vote on his string of victories.
Oh and I wanted to mention that today, when Hillary was waving her arms around on stage like a mad women, mocking Obama and his message of hope, the Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama spent his afternoon at the Northern Illinois University memorial service for the five students who were killed on Feb. 14 in De Kalb
