Here are some of the most recent polls being released out of Maryland and Virginia, where voters from both states will cast their votes tomorrow. It is clear, from the looks of these numbers that the junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, is the favorite. Barring an upset/polling foul-up like the one we saw in New Hampshire, Obama seems set for comfortable victories in all three states taking part in tomorrow’s vote. If in fact he is successful in tomorrow’s contests, his winning streak will move to an impressive 8-0 for the month of February. Here are the polling numbers I am referring to:

As Barack Obama continues to rack up victories, it is becoming more and more clear that Clinton is setting up to make her stand March 4th, when the voters of Texas and Ohio cast their ballots. This is somewhat risky, mainly due to the momentum that Obama continues to gain after each primary he walks away from winning, and lately, as you saw in Maine, Nebraska, and Washington state, Obama is winning by landslides. That being said, I do want to make clear that I am supporting Sen. Barack Obama, but that does not play a factor in the analysis that Hillary maybe setting herself up for disappointment in the strategy of “last stand primaries”, which she seems to be implementing in Ohio and Texas. You only have to look back to Rudy Giulianin and his fate when he also attempted to make his stand in Florida. Hillary is undoubtedly not employing the exact same tactic as Guiliani, however there is similarities in their rolling the dice on winning a specific, or in Clinton’s case, states.
